GC EUROPE N.V. opened its East European Office (GC EEO) in April 1993 with the address in Zagreb, Croatia. Back then, GC was the first major dental producer to successfully market and sell glass ionomer cements in the region, starting with GC Fuji II LC, then GC Fuji IX GP and GC Fuji Plus. While the East European market was an economically difficult area some years ago, today it is one of the most important sales markets to GC EUROPE. In 2003 GC EEO was awarded the "Best Performance Award" by the GC Corporation headquarters for extraordinary sales increases in the past five years. Today GC EUROPE, EEO markets the whole European offer of GC products including our new products such as GC Gradia Direct and GC Initial.
