Dr Jürgen Eberlein: 25 years man and manager in the dental industry
In 1976 Dr. Jürgen Eberlein, PhD in Chemistry and today President of GC EUROPE N.V. started his career in the dental industry, where at the time the meaning of "dental family" was still very much alive. Being a realist and pragmatist, this branch seems to be the natural environment for someone who expresses humour and harmony (but not at any cost)
His career blossomed successfully: 18 years at ESPE of which 4 were as General Manager, then General Manager at ROEKO, and since 1996 responsibility for the European management of GC EUROPE N.V. The fascination of being able to think in the mid- to long-term and to act pragmatically makes the bond between him and the Japanese parent corporation so apparent.
If something like "Dental-Humanism" exists, then it is expressed in the Japanese word SEMUI: To act and think for the benefit/good of the person involved. A philosophy with which Dr. Eberlein identifies himself and which he practises towards his customers, his industrial partners and most of all his colleagues.
He was and is committed to international organisations in the same way as he is in his business life: Since 1984 board member of VDDI, 4 years President.
From 1990 until 1995, Executive Board Member of FIDE and then from 1995 to 2001, President of Federation of European manufacturers. Finally from 1996 to 1998 President of IDM, the international organisation of dental industry GC EUROPE, with subsidiaries in several European countries, is expanding dynamically. The very nature of the man who is Dr. Eberlein is reflected in his behaviour and attitude. Success follows him.
